55002 arriving at Wansford Bank Holiday Monday 04 May 1981. This image kindly provided by Adrian Tibble who retains copyright. This BR Merrymaker Excursion has run as 10.30 Finsbury Park to Wansford via Canonbury, Stratford, Cambridge, Ely, March, Cowbit, Spalding (reverse), Werrington & Peterborough. Altho I travelled on it I do not have any pictures from the day so am grateful to Adrian for assistance.
